If you like a clean,peaceful and quiet location,Run!

I strongly advise against moving to this area in DC. The environment is overwhelmed by crack smoke filtering through the vents and a troubling front entrance. It's a hotspot for anger, filled with constant fighting and chaos. On top of that, there's a neighbor who frequently yells throughout the night, creating an unbearable atmosphere. Each summer brings a fruit fly infestation, while winter welcomes roaches. I can tolerate many issues, but crack smoke and roaches are unacceptable. My time here... has certainly come to an end, and I’m actively seeking a new apartment, which motivates this review!

Great Apartment Living

The Gale is a very nice apartment living. To me keeping the building clean is very important. I find the carpeting in my building on my floor is horrible. Since my new apartment is near the trash bin, I’ve seen roaches! Now that makes me afraid that they will come into my apartment. Never had to deal with that problem. I pray that it doesn’t. I want to enjoy my new home.

Great Place to Live!

The Gale Eckington has thus far surpassed my expectations. I love my apartment, it is SO much better than my old one and have a lot more cabinet space than I ever anticipated (which is awesome!). I was a little nervous not seeing the place beforehand and only the sample apartment, but it has surpassed my expectations. I could not believe how clean it was! I was prepared to do my own wipe down. Again, exceeded my expectations considering my family owns a commercial cleaning company, therefore my... standards of cleanliness are higher than maybe most and I was blown away! Unlike other management companies I've rented with, the team at The Gale actually communicate with each other and work with you, which is beyond refreshing.
If you cannot tell, I am extremely happy with the Gale Team, you guys have all been amazing! Thank you for all your hard work.
